- How much smaller will it get?
- It depends on what is inside. A bundle of colour scans drops sharply; a text document barely moves.
- Is it better to re-scan?
- Often yes. Greyscale at 200 dpi is several times lighter than colour at 300 and stays legible for ordinary paperwork.
- Will stamps stay readable?
- Usually, but small lettering inside a stamp is the first detail to soften. For documents that will be checked, keep the original.
- Does the file leave my device?
- Yes. This is a server tool, unlike merging and splitting.
- How long do I have to download?
- Sixty minutes, then the result is deleted.
- Is cancelling easy?
- Two clicks once signed in, and if the password is gone, a separate cancel page.
